The EP: Keys & Me

The EP: Keys & Me

After spending hours upon hours in the studio this year to-date, it has finally become clear what direction I’m taking this new sound. I’m super excited to announce that I’ll be completing a 4-track EP in early 2014. The vibe? Beautiful piano and me. That’s it!

From there, I’ll remix the crap out of it 🙂 I’m really pumped for a few reasons. First, this is completely my own and I will have every piece of this project in my hands. Second, it is simple. So much of what we hear these days has about a million sounds in the mix. Looking forward to bringing back basics. And lastly, I get the final word on remixes and will have rounded out this body of work with an EDM twist. I hope to have your support early next year and can’t wait to hear what you think.

Rediscovered Tune!

Rediscovered Tune!

As UNglamorous as this is, one of my very first tracks was recorded in a bathroom. It was also before I met Chad and Dave, and before I really knew the many sub-genres of EDM… so all you trance fans out there, please be kind regarding this deep house oldie that I wrote back in 2007/2008 😉 No tuning, no headphones, no clue! Cheers to evolving as a musician!

On Singing… and Beyond!

On Singing… and Beyond!

It has been an interesting last few months with the completion of the Suther and Brista “fault lines” video and the opportunity for other projects. As a musician, many fans want me to continue putting out tracks. I get that, but I also enjoy doing other things related to the industry. For example, I’m going to a school next week to help teach the 3rd graders about song writing and lyric visualization. I also just finished a series of marketing videos for IBM, both speaking and singing for the project. The point is, as much as I love putting out new music, I truly enjoy sharing art with others, participating in new things, and putting myself outside the comfort zone. If you have an interesting project and would like me to get involved, reach out and let’s see what’s up!

Meanwhile… back at the studio…

Meanwhile… back at the studio…

Yes, I admit it has been a while… so it’s time for some new material. I’m writing, recording scratches, and testing out melody after melody. Out of 100 ideas, only 1 may stick, but at least that means you probably picked a good one 😉 Robert and I jammed on 2 new ideas yesterday and I have 2 scratches into Chad and Dave at the moment… good things are coming!

Favorite Show Fashion

Favorite Show Fashion

From yesterday’s shows, I have a few select looks that were the most fun. Whether we’re rockin wigs or trailing glitter, creativity in fashion is always fun… so here are a few of my favorites. If you have favorites from any of my Tritonal shows, feel free to send to send them to us! If they do indeed rock, I will post them 🙂
